OPEN STITCH TIME: The Social Knitwork is a learning center  but also a social environment. People are always welcome to come and sit and knit or crochet and meet new people. On a day when there is an event scheduled, open knit / crochet time is not available. Check our calendar to see if it says “EVENT” on a day you are considering. Also, you can always call ahead for info if you like.

I hold one on one classes even with people in the shop just being social. It becomes understood that there are times if the laughter gets too loud, I may have to ask for a little quiet while I get a point across. Everyone is always very understanding and I love that a new knitter or crocheter gets to be social while they learn, after all, we’ve all been there!

Drinks with tops are allowed for those who are coming to sit and knit or crochet for a while. I do ask that your drink has a secure top.

Food (breakfast or lunch) is not allowed unless it is something being provided by TSK. We appreciate your understanding with this as many food items bought in town leave a heavy smell behind and I cannot take on garbage with food content.

Most importantly, I expect everyone who wants to come and sit to be kind and willing to include everyone in their visit. BE SOCIAL!
